in general the entire US population needs to make these changes:

1. more frequent, smaller meals throughout the entire day (including breakfast!)
2. less bad fats and more good fats (peanut butter, avocado, etc).
3. less carbs and more protein (pasta, bread, rice, fruits, etc. most people drink their bad cals in large sodas and juices.
4. 1hr activity per day
5. enough sleep (6-8 hrs)
6. more veggies (they take up space to keep you full and dont have calories)
6-1"
310lbs
Not sure on body fat. But I wouldnt be surprised if it was 40% range.

i seriously doubt youre at 40%. but follow those general rules and you'll see progress. fat loss comes down to 1 thing; caloric deficit.

if youre burning more calories than youre taking in you lose weight, garaunteed.

because mr. jackass over here has his own very opinionated scarcely supported beliefs about what fitness and nutrition entail.

I've told my gf that i'm going to go on a krispy kreme diet for a month and lose weight just to prove the caloric deficit to a few of my local friends that don't get the simple calorie intake vs burned. About 200 calories in a glazed doughnut. I'd eat about 8 a day and lose weight that month. Love to actually do this just to prove the point. There are 83458345 better, healthier ways to stay in a caloric deficit, but it comes down to caloric deficit lol. Not exactly keeping my muscle that way, so don't wanna sacrifice it. DONT DO A KRISPY KREME DIET! Just saying i want to eventually just to prove a point.

Far better results can be had with a healthier diet but yeah. its that simple.

I couldn't agree more. I was just trying to be as far out in left field as possible to prove it comes down to calories. I do not do anything like this at all lol.
