I ran 31-32psi on my stock turbo on e85, made a lil over 400whp/400wtq.

Ran it for 6-7 months, then went to fpred and made 500whp/460wtq then motor kaboomed like 3 weeks later.

So did my stock turbo gernade the motor or did the fpred, who knows.

I would prolly run a stock turbo up to 28psi max on e85 if I had to do it again. Sure was a fun setup though.

well kozmic tuned my car on fuel upgrades/bolt ons/e85 at 27psi a couple months ago and i ran at 350awhp/360tq. those numbers are on a mustang dyno.Ive read that the mustang reads 12-15% less than a dynojet so if you figure the numbers im about 400/400 +-10. If my calculations are off please let me know. so yes it is possible to run 400 awhp with stock turbo.
30 PSI is overkill. the stock turbo will not blow any more air at that point nor will you make any more power over 6950rpm with stock turbo.

No but on e85 hot air isn't an issue really. And you gain tons of midrange and down low torque.

There is plenty reason to run 30psi if you don't mind possibly windowing you block.

Peak numbers won't change, well torque will, but your powerband will be beefier.

Like I said, it works but you run a high risk

I wouldn't do it again, you took a smart path.

I'd place my bet on a vented block.

I wonder if the tuner of this engine is also a local shop owner that sells built engines....

Side Questions- 1) How is gas mileage on e85 compared to premium? 2) Can u safely run e85 without a fmic upgrade?

Expect around 18-19 highway. Yes you can run e85 on stock FMIC. Air from the turbo to the FMIC is just air. Regardless of fuel.
