Anyone in Alberta got SST replaced yet ?
Wondering if anyone in Alberta had got their SST replaced under warranty yet?
I think there is something wrong with mine, but it doesn't happen everyday or it could happen 3 times in a day...
It's like I am going slow in my neighborhood or in a parking lot going like 10-20-30 kph, basically cruising with no throttle in 4th or 5th, then I brake to turn in, brake off no throttle again at the middle of the turn or "apex", then slightly after the apex i slightly give it a little throttle and then "BANG", car jerks, hesitates, stumbles or whatever you want to call it, for about 1 second ( for some reason the idea of the transmission selecting 2 gears all at once is stuck in my head, probably not the problem ), then it will go back to normal...no lights flashing, no warning, no symptoms...very very random...only happens at low speeds like parking lot and neighborhood streets...you can drive all day or week and it won't happen once, or it happened to me twice at a parking lot turn after turn...
I just want to see if this had happened to anyone else here...I am sure if I take it in to the dealership without doing any research, they will be like "intermittent problem, cannot repeat at this time, monitor"
I almost got burnt twice right after my 3 yrs/60k expired earlier this year. 2 months after my 3 yrs my serpentine belt torn and ended up replacing the belt, pulleys and tensioner, good thing I found a good mechanic that did that for me for cheap.........then another month later the AYC pump gone, lucky I got like 90% covered under goodwill....so I don't want to put this off until the last minute. SST is not cheap, if there really is a problem, I rather have that replaced while it's still under warranty.
Car is 08 MR, about 45k km, last SST fluid change was at 18k
Thanks in advance
