If you want near 400whp, you need to ditch the cat. Just get a testpipe...cats don't pass emissions anyway.

If you are truly concerned with 400whp on a stock turbo, you need no exhaust restrictions.

I am not a pro on this stuff, but when I asked my tuner if I would need a bigger intercooler for a 400whp project, he said no. Just wondering if he is correct or not.

If you are on E85 you don't need a bigger turbo as it has a cooling effect that helps a lot.

But I'd still recommend a bigger IC if you really want to push the stock turbo.

ETS 3.5 intercooler is capable of withstanding 600+ hp. And its cheap unless you want to andodize it then its another 100 bucks. But still a solid piecce

It looks like throwing allot of money will get me to that number.
Building a motor you mean(cylinder head, short block, pistons, rods, head studs, cams, crank)?
Will i encounter allot of problems after that?
How many whp the transition will handle?
Ok i admit it im now on turbos, i was naturally aspirated rider.

You're looking at probably 6k-7k all said and done just for the built motor. It'll easily hold whatever you want it to make at that point. Don't forget you'll also need a new clutch and clutch master cylinder if you're planning to get a larger turbo
