Yeah... Lolol i think its basically a FP turbo at the end an inregards to saying the R&D gone into it an oem reliability then why if you upgrade they would deny warranty if something went wrong with engine... Why not offered as a factory upgrade? -.-

I know it sucks this is not offered as a factory upgrade or at least on a dealership by dealership basis like in the UK how ralliart upgrades are available...maybe Smash at SoCo Mitsu can get a program going for this kind of like SoCo does/did the Muellerized suspension upgrade options built into the car loan...

I'm getting turbo...eventually...love the fact that it has a Mitsu badge on it...

Yes, as well as a UK firm, as I understand. But I imagine the output from the R&D isn't the issue. Manufacturing inconsistencies seems like a bigger opportunity for physical failure than design specs. That's just a general engineering perspective though, I have no personal experience with turbo design, etc.

I would totally test one out. Do dyno comparasson before and after results. I am planning my vaction around the next Texas mile just for fun. I am going on the Stock Turbo now but this would be fun to see the SST run on higher speeds with the V-Box data in the end showing 60-130mph and Top Speed. I just need the right tune for the TQ and also get the TCU remaped with an awesome tunner.

Agree ken, i think the right thing to do would be to send that turbo to someone who can use it
it might hurt now.... but down the track you'll bask in the glory of "doing the right thing"
