I have been keeping my eye on this for a little while. Couple questions that I have:
-for the 12v power, would you need to have a surge protection or would you route this like you route this like an amp.
-I have an aftermarket amp already, so with having that this would be more plug and play? Could you take a picture of the back with all of the connections/ports?
-Is the carputer the same size in length?

I hooked up my accelerator pedal in my car to my brake lights. I hit the gas, people behind me stop, and I'm gone!

1. The power supply consumes 160W max, so it should not require any additional capacitors. The processor chip is also only 35W, which was purchased due to it's low power consumption.

2. Attached above is a photo of the back of the radio. You would run a connection from the 3.5mm green outlet.

3. The motherboard, processor, power supply, and hard drive are mounted inside of the double din casing. It measures 8.5 inches in depth.

Thanks man!
ok dumb question possibly, powering, there are 3 wires. Obviously Red goes to positive, I would guess that black goes to ground, but white, would that also be ground? Or would you run black all the way to negative.
Also how do you think it will be with cooling or staying cool? I know my double din has a tiny fan in it. With it being a computer I would assume it is going be running even hotter.

White goes to ignition. I would keep the ground as short as possible, so somewhere up near the center console.

I am not really sure with the cooling. I have not seen too many issues with the guys who have ran the computer in the dash. I have a small fan that could be mounted on the back plane if cooling became an issue.
