man why is it always a 370z that people trade in for a EvoX. I vote trade the Z in for the EvoX and heres why....

I owned a 09 370z for 8 months and got rid of it. Worst care i ever bought. If you track the car the over heating issue is bs. This is suppose to be a sports car ready for track use, yet it over heats within 5mins. The brakes suck ass on them and will get you into alot of trouble. Of course all this could be avoided if you upgrade the shit. But why should you? this car is suppose to be track ready.

Now for DD the car is ok. Defently not a good car if you have family or need the space in the trunk. I'm in the army and the Z couldnt hold all my gear. Had to make multiple trips to the base when getting ready to go on deployment or excerises. The clutch chatter is unreal for a stock car. The VDC system was a joke and pissed me off. That thing was way to senstive, especially in snow. I ended up removing the harness under the center console by the ebrake to kill the VDC.

Now lets look at those same points for the Evo. Heating issues? there is none. The GSR comes stock with a oil cooler and the MR comes with a engine oil cooler and transmission oil cooler. Although i have heard people with issues with the SST with over heating. But come on, who wants a automatic anyways...lol.

Brakes? Evo's stock breaks are amazing. The brembo brakes really are amazing. The MR or GSR with the handling package is probably abit better with the 2 piece rotor up front, i wouldnt know because i havent tracked one with the package. Only complaint i got with the brake system is the fluid. Once you get your skill up on the track and brake really hard, you will boil the fluid. But thats common with any car, even a GT-R.

Lets look at the DD portion of the EvoX. It has 4 doors so very covenient for families, cargo and whatnot. Sure the trunk is small on the Evo but you got rear seats. The clutch is very friendly and doesnt make any chatter noises.

Now alot of people that dont like the Evo will say "it has plastic and cheap inteiror for 40k" this is true. But you arent paying 40k for the interior, if thats what you are looknig for, go buy a lexus. Being cheap plastic cuts down the weight of this already fat pig. If they put nice inteiror like the evo, then this car would weigh 4000lbs easy.

The S-AWD with the AYC and all other gizmos is truely unblieveable and make this car amazing. Anyways, hope that helps. If you got any more questions, you can pm me.

no he isnt. It costs almost 3k to get the full service package. Engine, transmission, tcase, rear diff, Rad and Brakes all get flushed. Hence why i dont take my car to the dealership.

I think this is another one those threads where the OP asks a dumb question he already knows the answer to, and then sits back and laughs. He hasnt responded since he started this thread.

If he really cared, where are the questions??? He should be asking a hundred questions for all of us to get annoyed about.

71k on my odo and still ticking. I enjoy taking my family with me instead of driving separate cars when I had my 350Z. Both the Evo and Z is nice. Get what your heart loves more. When your ready to let go of the Z, then you won't be asking, you'll just make the right choice.

Indeed. I could give less than a fuck if this guy decides on an Evo, a unicycle or a skateboard. If you buy an Evo, great. If not, fine. Its amazing how much time people are spending responding, including myself. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to do something more productive, like create a poll to decide if I should eat a pizza or a burrito tonight for dinner.
