Merchant dispute: forged performance.
Long story short, I sent my car to Forged Performance for a motor build, 9.0 Manley pistons, poncams, bbx turbo, ams intake+intercooler+ piping, dw injectors, dw300 fuel pump, ebc, etc. After ten months and $30k I received the car. It was throwing DTC p0303. I called them and they said it was probably just "noise from the built motor." The car was driving like shit so i checked under the hood and the third cylinder injecter was unplugged.
I moved to colorado almost immediately and called them to have them refer a tuner. I went to the tuner that they told me and he said that there was something wrong with the car. We pulled the motor after finding metal shavings in the oil and sent the block to a third party machine shop. The shop said that the pistons had been incorrectly clearanced and the pistons were torn apart all along the edges but looked brand new on the top. I called forged and told them what happened and they sent a truck up to pick my car up and take it back to atlanta to fix what they had done. Once they had my car they said that I had ran it without an air filter and debris had caused the scoring. I never touched the intake that they installed. They kept the car another nine months and charged me another $15k to get it back. Attached is the most recent invoice with their claims of me running my car with no filter. oh, and here's the long version of what happened: http://www.evoxforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=60667

They charged you to remove your steering wheel as well. Based on your previous statement, this doesn't seem like something you asked for nor did they even do it correctly.

What if you gather a few investors and we create a fund to sue FP and then based on the recouped cost you can pay dividends to the investors? Just a thought since you need funds for litigation.
first day back at work since the break, I could be going crazy.

I know I contributed to a fund to unlock the SST TCU that is languishing in Evo purgatory right now. I can think of no better use of those funds that to go after these jokers.

Hey OP, my condolences on this crappy situation that you're in.
For my own personal knowlege, I'm aware of Forged Performance's existence as a merchant on this forum, but I've never really paid any attention to the work they've done for members on here. Have they repeatedly done this sort of thing to customers?
