"Bomb Filter"

Does anyone know where the bomb filter is on the block and what it looks like?

is this factory? if not why would you want to put one in? seems like it would be a small restriction and increase oil pressure to the head, right?

I don't really know to be honest, Dino puts them in his blocks and as he is doing some work for me he requested my old one but I don't have one in my block. I sent Dino an email about why one is recommended and its purpose and that I don't have one in my old block, he said he can get one so no big deal on finding one. Hopefully he will spill the beans on this little bomb filter thingy lol

Well once I find out some more ill let you all know. You could be right and as Dino says it needs one I'm sure it helps rather than restricting, a is doubt he would recommend using it if it was more of a hindrance.

Cool, have you pulled it to actually look at it by chance? Curious as to its functionality
