I wanna order the single however I'm a bit hesitant for a few reasons. 1) Will the exhaust bottle neck where it meets the cat? 2) How does the single sound?

The Single Exit comes with a replacement full 3" Test Pipe absolutely free as part of the pre-order special, so no bottlenecking whatsoever

The exhaust sound has been tuned to perfection, even better than the original due to a different design method and the inclusion of the external "resonator" which removes any possibility of drone. The original system was designed to never exceed 94db while maintaining a smooth race sound when at WOT. You can check out a video of the V1 System (Original) on youtoube to get a general idea, and we'll have the V2 system vid up as soon as we can

This will be one of the BEST sounding systems out there, take a look at some vids of their other cars while youre at it - Genesis 2.0 etc, they sound absolutely incredible.

Sean do you have any sound clips from your car? :3 I'm very curious to see how much of a difference the tuned system makes

well that extra canister on the single exit hurt exhaust flow at all? not really sure how those things work...

Have you ever had the Tomei on your car? I absolutely love the sound of it (and the loudness). If you have, how does this compare in terms of loudness and "refined" tone?

By "refined" tone.. you know how some of the cheaper exhausts sound like a rattle can (think Hondas). Compare that to the smooth sound of a GT-R

Not in the slightest, the system is actually quite simple! It pulls a small portion of the initial exhaust flow and then bounces it back into the stream. The system will still flow extremely smooth, you're beginning to see this technology on more and more exhausts these days due to its simple yet incredibly effective design.
