Looks like that shop lives by one of my favorite mottos: If it don't fit, use a screwdriver to pry it open and force it in.

Yea they definitely screwed the pooch on this one. I would take it back to the shop and demand they replace the carbon fiber piece.

Ordered a new trim. It was 100.00. I looks like I'm going to have to replace the Fosgate Amp.
the volume is low and not a good match. anyone replace there amp?

Yes with a JL 900/5. But then again the Fosgate stuff that came in my car is all junk. I cant believe they sell it as an upgrade.

I just did a jl 700/5 it really improves the fostgate stuff

Was the JL 900/5 a direct swap or did you need other stuff as well. Right now I just have a crappy Sony double din and the sound is only ok. Looking for a little more thump.
