All you would need is the Cobb fp turbo inlet pipe or the ATP 3' turbo inlet pipe to connect to the stock air box + drop in air filter...I'm going to use the stock airbox on upgraded turbo myself when I upgrade and going with the ATP pipe since it is metal...stock airbox is good till about 400-450whp...what did you have in mind?

Are you keeping the stock airbox for CA emissions purposes? just curious.

this is the ralliart section...

to answer the OP's question, you need to find someone to make a connector pipe. any decent shop at fabricating pipe can do it - just no shop has stepped up to make one for public production

sstevojr told me that RRE supplied him with the piping required to use factory Ralliart airbox with Evolution X turbo.

This is exactly how I intend to set up my X-swap... when I get around to it, lol.

So you can only do it with a fabricated inlet pipe?

the TD04 doesn't have a 90* inlet like the TD05. So it's like fitting puzzle pieces together from two different puzzles

it's really not the end of the world. ANY decent shop should be able to deal with it. a muffler shop could probably even do it - you just need to connect A and B somehow\

OR - you could relocate the battery to the trunk and use the OEM X intake piping
