New 2013 or Used 2010

Got a call today if I was interested in a used 2010 GSR for $23k or still wait for the 2013. It's a 9K difference and 2 years older...title is clean with 1 owner. I would have that piece of mind with a new one but the 2010 sounds like a good deal too. Maybe I can put the 9k I save into any repair for the car? What’s your guys/gals take on this? Take it or wait?

Are you interested more in the performance or that stance stuff? If performance, get the 2013. If stance yo, get the used one..then you'll have money left over for air bags, many sets of tires, and nice wheels.

bro

I just got a 13' and didnt even consider an older model, used Evo. I didnt want to take that chance. That's not to say that there aren't some clean and well taken car of Evos. But, i def didnt want to buy an Evo that had been raced/tracked/abused and it turn out to be a nightmare. If its not a huge money issue, I vote for the 13' !!

It would depend 100% on how the used car ran and what the engine bay looked like. Putting a price next to a used Evo isn't enough to say whether it's a good deal or not. Some of those used Evos are too far gone even 9k isn't worth it.

If the car is clean and runs fine and you can't tell the difference I would certainly pocket the 9k difference.
