Anyone here actually *own* an FQ400??

Well as the title says, does anyone own an FQ400 or know someone that does? ... if so, post your country of residence ... conversions dont count (like a front bumper)

I love how they look, I love everything about them, but I've never seen one in person (obviously, as i'm in the US)

The pictures I see only show it in OB or RR... any PB FQ400s??

There was only like 100 of them made total. It's kind of like asking a Lexus forum if anyone owns an LFA.

If I were to go back to England for a few weeks, I bet I could run across a owner of one.lol If you had posted this message about 2 months ago, I may have been able to snag up a few pictures of one and have a chat with a owner of one. The UK has all sorts of Evo greatness roaming around the streets! It was actually the first time I saw a Evo 6 TME in the Malbaro red and white theme as well as a R33 and a dark purple R34 Skyline passing a bus I was on while heading back to Lakenheath Air Force Base.

FQ models have been over glorified by top gear and Clarkson's enticing journalistic choice of words.

I test drove the fq360 and a used 400 when I was in England , came back home and imported a JDM model. Its no big difference , its just a case of wanting things you cant have lol , as always when you do get it , you wonder where the hype went.

The USDM evos are the record breaking cars and the majority in evo X tuning and modifying world. Name one fq that has done anything better.

maybe it's because there's simply SOOO many more non-fqs so that of course records are *most-likely* to be had by non-FQs? idk, just throwin that out there

the fq-400 was the inspiration to my mod list. i figured that if they could produce a daily 400 hp evo X outta the box, then why couldnt i mod one into a reliable daily. so i did it myself for a fraction of the cost.
the only problem is that i dont have the sexy aero pieces. there was a dude who was able to source authentic fq-400 parts from the UK and he did a full conversion. he spent a shit load of money doing it and then painted it lambo yellow. its probably the sexiest looking evo x i've ever seen IMO.
he was featured in Modified and then sold it and bought an M3. and then got that featured in Modified. dude is my hero, lol.
he still sources the body parts and sells them on ebay if anyone can shell out the cash.
