Haha I read the manual, and it said to use water.

Ok, so you just spray a whole quart of paint thinner through it, and disassemble the whole tip to clean by hand?

how many gallons would you recommend to order for a color change on our Xs? i know with the matte you dont need to do as many coats. Think 3 or 4?

Jeremy, you just spray a quart of water through it when you're done? I know after a few big dips you'll need to deep clean it, disassemble etc. But for the first few, just spray a full quart of water through it?
Did you spray this srtoad?

If you're doing matte clear over your stock paint, 1 gallon is sufficient.

If you're doing a full color change, you'll need 3-4 gallons, depending on if your car is light/dark and if the end resulting dip you want to be light/dark.

I'd always say order 4 gallons to be sure, never hurts to have a little extra dip on hand for touchups

Au contraire:

People plastidip SPECIFICALLY to protect their car from winter/salt/rocks/etc.

My boss and I are gonna dip his 93 bmw and my miata as well when his kit comes in. He's practically getting the kit for free since his friend wants their car done!

It's actually the same price form both.

However I have Prime with Amazon, so free 2-day shipping. Otherwise I would have paid like $15 from DYC for shipping.
