I'm looking for a good match in my interior for a shift boot and armrest cover. I don't think I'll be getting the e-brake cover.

I'm debating between black Napa leather and black alcantara. Both would have light grey stitching.

I don't really like the "charcoal" alcantara as I think it is too light of a match for the interior fabrics in the GSR (seats / door cards)

Anyone have the black alcantara that could post a pic with a GOOD camera so I can tell the color? I know KoukiMonster did the black Napa leather, but his seats are leather so it fits better.

I did the alcantara, but went with grey and violety blue stitching to go with my knob...you can find it in the knob thread...but I know you don't want to see the grey. I personally like the look of alcantara better, but the leather is nice if you have a leather interior.

How closely does the grey/charcoal you got match the seats / armrest / door cards?

OP, out of curiosity, why not get leather to tie into your steering wheel?

Ehh, I thought about it. But the thing is, only the steering wheel is leather. Everything else is material inside the car.

^^ True, I'm basically in the same boat as you. I thought about leather but I don't have the leather package. I wanted a boot material to closely match the seats.

It really depends on the light, in my pics it's really sunny out so it lightens up a lot. Before I installed it and had it sitting in my living room it was really dark, and I seriously thought I was sent the black alcantara. It's not going to be a direct match, and maybe the black would match better. But here's a few pix in the sunlight of the grey.

This is before exposed to the light...that might be able to give you an idea of how dark it is before it's in all the direct sunlight like the first few pics. Anyways I hope that helps.
