Exclamation Feedback on Mod List

Now that I have an '08 Evo, I've come up with a list of plans, and would love feedback on it. This thing will be a daily driver with 1 or 2 track days a month. Thanks all!

Exterior:
-CF Front Lip
-Vortex Generator
-Matte Black Roof Vinyl
-Matte Black Plasti-Dip (badges, hood vents)
-MR BBS Wheels
-'10-present Black OEM Tail lights
-OEM Mudflaps

Performance
-AEM Intake
-Cat-Back Exhaust (not sure on brand/type yet)
-AMS Intercooler and both hot and cold pipes
-Cobb 3 Port Boost Controller
-Brembo Drilled Rotors
-WORKS Blue Brake Pads
-AMS Stainless Steel Brake Lines
-MR OEM shocks and springs (Eibach/Bilstein)

Interior
-OEM Aluminum Shift Knob
-Shifter Boot with Red Stitching
-Full LED light conversion (map, dome, trunk, license plate)
-Window Tint (35% front doors, 20% rear doors and back)

Ideas/Feedback? Thanks in advance guys!

I would recommend a 3 port as well as the stock solenoids suck

Also, drilled rotors will be prone to cracking during track days. You will be fine with the stock rotors.

I'm relatively new to turbos (as far as how they technically work), so could you explain what a 3-port is/does? I looked them up, and they seem to be related to Turbo response. Why get an AM one versus the stock one?

A 3 port is a electronic boost control solenoid. It reacts much quicker than the stock boost control solenoids and is able to control/hold boost better through its faster reaction.

Is this the bolt-on what allows for adjusting the boost characteristics, such as boost pressure? Or is that something that can only be adjusted with a tune (I know you'd have to tune immediately after install of a 3 port)

its only adjustable through the tune. Yes, you can raise and lower boost with it

Would you recommend just throwing it in with the Intake/Intercooler/Exhaust install and knock out one tune, or is that too much at a time?

Thanks for the suggestion , I'll do some research and throw it into the plan!

You absolutely can put all that on at once, just make sure you do NOT go over 10 psi without a basemap setup for the 3 port.

No to Hawk HPS pads if you plan on tracking, as well.

Word. Ferodo DS2500's instead (or if on budget, Performance Friction Metallic Z's) And since you'll be in there, dicking with the brakes, add some SS brake lines.
I'm pretty sure the vortex generators on the X don't do shit, unless you're only going for the look.
