I only have experience with AMS, haven't had an issue. I can't imagine there being a huge difference between them, as long as its a name brand. Don't skimp and buy some bullshit off ebay or something. My votes for AMS

I think this is smart. I have used the MR stock Bilsteins (GTworx springs) all last year and whipped the ass of many-a-car with fancier coilovers. For a DD with occasional track, I think its a good idea. This way you'll be able to save your money for down the road and get some nice coilovers, not some cheap horseshit.

This is what I had in mind. However, something that Showbizz41 mentioned made me think. I never asked, can the MR springs be lowered? I don't wanna slam the Evo, but lowering it's CG a bit would be nice.

NO. Get the Eibachs you mentioned, or the GTWorx which I know work. Don't go screwing around and modifying stock springs.

No they can't.. But as stated, get different springs if thats of interest
