Volk TE37 vs TE37SL - EvoXForums.com

Hey,

I'm looking at these TE37SL Black Edition, and while I would like the center caps.. it's hard to justify the extra $1000 just for center caps.

Which brings me to my other question.. My friend said that since the SL (Super Lap) are lighter, that they might not be made for street use (track only). I've tried researching on the web, but can't find anything. Anyone able to answer for sure?

The TE37 SL's are awesome, I use them on my daily (Graphite though) as to a ton of my customers, you're golden bud

The Black Edition are limited so in quantities so if you want to get them sooner than later is best, if you need a quote let me know and I'd be glad to help out.

Black edition all the way. I just got them a few weeks ago through Sean @ DSG, he will def help ya out, amazing customer service at DSG. Pictures do not do these wheels justice. They are so amazing looking.

The gradient paint job.. is fucking amazing.

No other wheel will have such a great paint job and attention to detail as the SL or black edition TE's.

Pictures definitely do not do them justice. Also, imo, they look better without the center caps anyways.

is it really $1000 for caps?? thats nuts, you could buy a set of winter wheels for that lol

No. The standard te37 can fit optional center caps while sl series don't have that option.

i have several friends with SL's and one with black series street only use no problems.

I just meant, you can get TE37sl for 3k, but the regular TE37 with center caps is 4kish.

The SLs are amazing.

They are lightweight and very strong. As strong as the regular TE37s. So why they wouldn't work for daily driven is beyond me.

Yes they don't have center caps, and yes there are ways around this for $$$, but I don't know why you would need center caps. It doesn't look bad without them.
