There are 11 turbo options with that kit all of varying sizes.

Like the Garrett GT3582R ;-)

Frankly after seeing the spool on Phantom's project it seems silly to me to go any bigger than a red without doing it with the ETS T4 kit.

obviously, but id have to imagine if anyone sent a better graph to ETS they'd post it. i believe phantom's 6466 graph is up there now.

Exactly!

Hollywood tuned it, and the cams are listed in his build thread. If they can spool a turbo capeable of 900hp around 4k it stands to reason that you could do a similar set up with a smaller turbo and spool a 4-600 hp turbo sooner. I'm not saying i know how the outcome would be but it's a very exciting idea that would probably be worth perusing .

Also, I don't think those graphs are even for twinscroll T4 kits! They have the same charts posted on all 3 of their kits pages (single scroll, TS t3, and TS t4)

They look like single scroll T3 results to me.

I really want someone to run a ball bearing 5858, get the twinscroll housing from AGP for that turbo, and then throw it on the ETS twinscroll T3 kit (ETS will make the kit for that turbo if you send it in for them, I talked to them).

I think this would be a crazy combo.

so why is a t4 spooling faster than t3's? that seems counterintuitive to what i know about this stuff (which is limited compared to some of you guys most likely).

5858 was one of my considerations. would love to hear why you feel that way. would be great info.

that should run about $3k before intake and extras.

With the ams 2.4 stroker/bore block and on 94 octane, how much power can 750xp turbo produce? 600-700?

it spools faster because it's a twinscroll t4, vs single scroll t3

And I think the 5858, AGP TS housing, and ETS TS T3 kit would be excellent because it gets you the best of all worlds. Precision doesn't make a twinscroll housing for the 5858. Only AGP has them custom made, however the design of their manifold is lacking in comparison to that of ETS. So you take the already good spool of the 5858, add twinscroll to it for even faster spool, plus the power capabilities of the ETS top mount manifold... and win

Also, it would be a bit more than $3k.

Precision 5858 Ball Bearing: $1500
AGP Twinscroll T3 Housing: $220
2x Tial 38mm EWG: $500
ETS Kit parts needed: $2150

Total: $4370 approx.
