Correct.
I have plastic cover, no heat wrap or ceramic coating on a Sheepey stock frame manifold.

...I did put gold heat tape on the cover. Holding up great so far!

I love my car. Wish i could drive it everyday (go to school far from home so i leave the car at home during the week while im at school).

Best aspect of this car is the aftermarket support and how different every evo can be depending on how its built. I personally enjoy how great the handling of the car is. I can make v8 owners cry taking them through the canyons in my little 2L.

I plan on making a Evo purchase, thank you all on the juice information i now feel better and more confident. I just have one question if people still look/see this.

Do you Evo owners enjoy your car? and what part of your car do you enjoy best?

Oc287 Also get a clutch fork stop to prevent killing the throw out bearing when driving aggressively those thinks are cheap and can save people lots of money in repairs.

Oc287 Get upgraded metal pulleys from Hyundai if you are tracking the car.

Oc287 if you are tracking the car, upgrade the plastic belt pulleys for the metal pulley from the hyundai.
