I did the ACD seal replacement a while ago on a 74K mile 2011 mr.
Only way i spotted it was because i thought i had a cracked wheel/wheel thump and noticed oil leaking around the rear differential to right rear tire. No scrapping sound or anything like that but maybe i caught it early. I think the seal replace was about $300.

2014 MR ACD pump failure (maybe?) help!
Got my mr towed home today after noticing a metal scraping sound underneath. Immediately pulled over and checked underneath. Nothing there at all. Drove to a parking stall and it was getting worse, there is nothing on my brake pads. I have a Cobb tuner and though I wasn’t getting any lights on the dash I ran the ecu code reader and it came up with the c161f code accompanied by ACD. Did some research and came up with the idea that the acd pump wasn’t supplying to one of the tires, but there’s no fluid leaking and the reservoir in the back right of trunk was full. Any one experience this before? I’m terrified a new pump is 1700$!
