Post up your suggestions for what should be on the list. List things that I have not put in the sticky and feel free to PM me if you want. Things such as what to be aware of, things that suck, and things that need attention from the factory. Please limit the BS talk as it will just get deleted. Discuss on this topic only.

Things evoxforum members should know, you now need 15 posts to PM somebody, and 50 (yes 50) to become verified in order to start any new thread. That is beyond stupid. I've been a member here for 3 years since I bought my '15 Evo X and now I need 50 posts to sell some JDM Dash Kit I bought and don't need. Who comes up with these rules? Should I just spam another 35 posts? I mean I just spammed 15 so I could reply to an old thread I had going with an e-tuner when there was no post requirement for any of the regular shit you should be able to do on a forum site. Whoever made these rules is an absolute dumbass, unless they just want to turn people away from the site and make it more into a "members only" cool guy club. It's a fucking evo club, everyone with an evo should be welcome, hell even people who like evo's should be welcome. Turning away web traffic with retarded rules is ..retarded. Sorry for my quick rant, now I'll just go post this JDM Dash Kit + SWI - RC + Bypass on eBay, when all I wanted to do was hookup some fellow evoxforum member.

Other things X owners should know:

1) Condensation build up in stock tail light housing. Dealership states that condensation buildup is normal. Condensation shouldn't decrease the life of the bulbs per dealership. If the tail lights are holding water, then that's another story

2) Inner wheelhouse panel has no coating which causes it to rust/eat away at the quarter panel/dog leg area. Add rust/corrosion protection such as POR 15 for peace of mind. I also added corrosion protection to the engine cradle & rear impact bar as it was showing rust in certain areas

3) Stock manifold is weak and is prone to cracking. If you plan to replace the stock manifold with a tubular one, you will need to replace the plastic valve cover with an aluminum one as the plastic valve cover will melt/start a fire

P.s. u dont HAVE to replace the valve cover to run a tubular manifold. It might be a good idea. But not a necessity.

I have a plastic valve cover, and an ETS tubular manifold. The manifold is ceramic coated and wrapped. I have no issues

I love my car. Wish i could drive it everyday (go to school far from home so i leave the car at home during the week while im at school).

Best aspect of this car is the aftermarket support and how different every evo can be depending on how its built. I personally enjoy how great the handling of the car is. I can make v8 owners cry taking them through the canyons in my little 2L.
