The bottom line is twin clutch systems like the SST are the future. The problem for the SST is most car manufacturers are on to their 2nd and 3rd generations of twin clutch systems while ours was designed over a decade ago.

I can't comment on the MR as I have never driven one, but I do like the MR badge it is badass lol. I bought a '14 GSR brand new and I love it. As the others have said, you truly feel the power and the control of the engine. My biggest gripe is that the shifting at first was kind of choppy, but after 10K miles, the transmission was broken in and the shifts were smoother. Now, after about 5 minutes of driving, there's hardly any notchy shifting.

The MR bolt on for bolt is faster then the GSR. I have a gsr and my lady has an MR and I enjoy driving both. The 6th gear is a plus doing anything over 65mph. If you do get an MR make sure you get a proper tune and you won't have any problems with the SST.

Word. It is. Don't get me wrong. I love an old school manual. But the time is coming where you can have a reliable SST that you can beat all day on the track and then drive it home while sipping on a latte with no issues. :-) #Progression

As for my MR in the stock form, I beat it all day traveling to our Georgia Mountain house and no problems. I shift it when I want to and have a big smile on my face as I do so.

On another slight topic, do you all think Nissan will perhaps have enough pull to bring the Evo back in a newer form?

It all depends on weather or not mitsu can again turn a profit. I believe every manufacturer must make a sporty car. If the evo does make a comeback, it will probably be a sporty sedan hybrid.
