Sounds even better when you're driving and have a load on the engine.....however driving too long in boost will melt the part of the bumper behind the license plate.

I took the muffler off again this morning to get a bit of driving time and left it off till I got to work. Sounds pretty good, especially under boost and when decelerating. Also, it's barely audible when cruising at highway speed. It's back on now though cuz I don't wanna melt the diffuser

3-ish hours. Round Rock is just north of Austin.

Actually that's the best thing to do if you dont have money to buy a muffler.

I had a custom exhaust (catback) with no muffler made, it is similar to the ETS where it's a straight shot with a very tight Y pipe, not quite a T shape split where the stock muffler would be. Pics are on my other pc at home. There are some bends of course before the rear bumper. 3" round tips welded on.

Has a decent rumble at start up and idle. Very quiet when holding throttle steady and maintaining speed but opens up and gets pretty loud and agressive when under load. This is with the stock cat, going to a hi-flo cat pretty soon. We are pondering about dual tips just for cosmetics but we will see. I might be posting pics on Saturday.

*****EDIT*****
We did add a resonator
