Lowering Springs?

Im trying to lower my Evo X what Springs do you guys recommend? i want my car to be low but not too low. Do you guys know if i would lose handling? Or save money and buy coilovers? If you have pics of your Evo X lowered please post them so i can make my decision.
Thanks

Most of the threads about wheels have sideline comments about springs. Look at the wheel threads and you'll see every type of drop possible.

Springs will degrade your ride quality. You can alleviate a lot of that by installing the Whiteline RCK and a rear sway. You'd be a lot better off with that than going with cheap coils...need to spend $2k to play when it comes to coils.

I've been maintaining a listing of all Spring and Coilover setups available for the Evo X here:

https://www.evoxforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24155

Like others have said the lowering springs will give you the look but the handling will be different more than improved. Generally the stiffer springs can't be as controlled with the stock struts, there really is no replacement for a solid set of coilovers.

I was very impressed by the ride quality to performance ratio of the Eibach Pro-kits on the shop car as well.
