Buying an Evo X

Hi my name is brandon and im new to the forums. For the past year ive been thinking about upgrading from my '12 civic Si to an Evo x. I've been doing a lot of research and have come to the conclusion that i'll be buying a Gsr between the years 2008-2012 (13's+ are out of the price range i'm willing to spend). I would like to know if anyone can give me any advice or recommendations when buying an evo whether its things to watch out for, or which year you would advise me to buy and why.. I do plan on doing a lot of performance mods but will definitely be buying the car bone stock. Any word of advice about these cars will help. Thank you

Are you trying to buy one in stock condition? And what are you going to do with the car?

Get the newest, lowest mileage you can afford man. Have it looked at by a qualified evo shop before buying.

2008-2010 is one revision, 2011 + is another. Consider 2011+ as it has a few kinks fixed including timing chain, relays, etc...

and what vegasjuice said.

I just got rid of my Evo for a 2014 Civic Si. I'll get a WW GSR in two years.
