Unhappy Need help!!

okay so for some reason my front right wheels keeps making a metal scraping sound when i drive below 30mph. At first i thought it was the rotor dust shield scraping against my rotor but it isn't. I'm not sure if its just brake dust stuck in between my brakes because they seem to have alot of life in them or if its something else? please any input will is very much appreciated.

How long has this been happening?

Does it happen in reverse?

There is almost no way for the dust shield to touch the rotor - it's 1/2" away.

Take the wheel off and look. No other way to tell.

Could it be a wheel bearing? And can you record a sound clip/ video.

Check your pads, im having a squeeck noise. when I looked at my pads they are almost over. The nose goes away when I break. Should I use oem pads or just get stoptech?!... I've heard bad reviews about stoptech pads on oem rotors

I think Ermo might be right. Check your pads. There is normally a wear indicator that scrapes your disc to let you know you need new pads. Only other thing i could think of is a rock or something stuck in the rotor.

Most likely a rock. Or, if your rotors have significant lip, it would be the lip.
