actually that RJS sounds interesting, maybe ill just sell schroth, have any pics?

just an update guys, i decided to not go with the harness bar. I ordered an autopower cage instead and 6 point takatas

no problem eyler, paid $200 for it, used it about an hour and original owner is on this site too, he only used it about an hour. and thanks newb

3" vs. 2", the 3" are more comfortable as it spreads the load across your collar bone better.

I had a Schrothe Rallye-4, and granted...it was better than the stock belt but it really put pressure on my collar bones to the point that I'd experience some soreness for a couple days after an event. Especially an autoX.

Can the RJS harness be used without a harness bar like the Schrothe? IE, can it buckle the shoulders into the back seat buckle receiver?

I've used the rallye4 before and I've always like it, at least compared to the crap stock seat belt which isn't saying much. Never really made me sore, but I'd typically not be in it for more than 30 mins at a time.

I'm not familiar with the RJS harness, but the Schrothe is actually DOT legal. The way they sew straps allows for the seams to give during a impact. I wouldn't want to mount a non-giving harness at more than a +/- 15 angle.

huh, i never got sore from the schroth, only time i've used it so far was for 20 minute sessions. when the time comes, i want a 6-pt. also newb, do those RJS require a harness bar? if they do, ill have to pass....
