Feel free to draw a diagram where the lines go. It's hard to see from the pictures. Does the car drive normally? Also, wondering how high your boost goes.

Yeah, you haven't told us if you're having any issues besides the boost gauge. With a routing like this, I definitely think something would be wrong.

The car drives alright. I'm working with Chet right now to get it up-to-snuff, but the process has been slower on my end while I work out some unforeseen kinks.

There is definitely a boost leak or some boost-cut at around 5k rpm, it builds boost fine and when it finally peaks I just end up revving out to like 6500-7000 rpm but the car is pulling me anymore. It feels almost like a clutch slipping out, but I'm actually running brand new Exedy Twin Disc clutch.

Other than that, the car is pretty mint. I will draw up a diagram of the wiring.

Thanks!!

Ok, so that there is definitely an issue if you're not able to build boost past 5k.

Gotta check those lines. But if Chet's helping you out there's nobody better to help you square it away.

No, I am not running a Tephramod.

Did you buy the car from dealership by any chance? Because the level of "fuck you" in this vacuum routing is "used-car-dealrship-worthy".

Especially the open ended T, which basically just bleeds pressure from your vacuum control system.

Eh, you would need to reroute the whole system. The closer to stock the better.

What the fuck is that routing.

Ok, my suggestion would be to just take the car to an evo-knowledgeable shop and have them sort it out for you, if you have the money. The way this thing is set up, I'm just afraid there are more gremlins under that hood that even if we help you fix the vacuum line routing, other problems might spring up. I can't imagine any tuner would have tuned the car like this but who knows if this wasn't the previous owner's handiwork.

This is like... Jesus man, when I did my EBCS and Intake I had pretty much never opened the hood of a car for more than a coolant fill, but at least I had a computer and google. I think my dog would have done a better job.
