My gauge is behaving similar to what you are describing. I have been driving it delicately and since I do not need to daily it since I have one, it doesn't get driven much to begin with.

Not trying to further complicate what I hope is a simple issue.

Yeah, at idle it usually reads -21in/hg, moderate boost can go as high as 0 PSI( which means it offsets the vacuum of the cylinders with extra boost from the compressor.

But to get into boost you need to give it some gas.

But to test codes, route everything back and see if codes pop up again - may be coincidence? What exactly are the codes though?

It's a P0300 code. Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire. I did not have that code before I adjusted the routing. Looking at it now, inspecting my injectors and plugs.

Just to make sure the gauge even reads correctly, why don't you borrow a hand pressure pump and apply pressure to the gauge sensor nipple?

There's still some misfiring but I just picked up some new plugs since I checked out the current ones and they are fucking roasted. Will post an update after tonight's tune up.
