We've never had an issue, but we also go a bit overboard with the teflon tape...lay it on thick.

I think that was my problem. I put the teflon tape on pretty thin.

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall.
Torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Try four. Hell, just go as thick as you can while still allowing it to fully thread in.

My Colt Speed engine cover wont fit now because the 90 degree bend gets in the way.

How much extra clearance do you need?

If you get a boomba rail, I can send you a 180* fitting that has a much lower profile...

Teflon tape will melt away with gasoline.

Use the Yellow Gas tape from Home Depot. Found at the plumbing section. It is rated for Gasoline.

Finally got around to installing mine this weekend. Got all of the leaks sealed. I installed the largest (gold I believe) orifice. Currently I just have the oem fuel pump installed & the car idles around 900/1000 rpm.

My issue is base pressure at 45ish psi. Adjusting the fpr does nothing & disconnecting the vac line does absolutely nothing. No matter what, it stays at 45psi.

Anyone have an idea as to what could be causing this other than malfunctioning afpr?

Any help is much appreciated.
