Well, back from the dead - sort of. The car ate a crank and has been off the road for awhile. It lasted all of 12k miles after the build from Kozmic. It is now at RS getting rebuilt (thanks Ron!). Ron reports the engine work was well done and didn't see an obvious reason for the failure. I called Kozmic and they have stopped all engine work (I'm told) and now are only doing transmissions and tunes. The engine was out of warranty at the time of failure, so there was nothing they were willing to offer.

I'm not sure when I'll get the car back, but Ron is rebuilding it as it was - 2.2L stroker. Anything the oil touched is getting replaced or inspected and rebuilt. At a minimum I'm at new crank and new rods. New oil cooler, bearings, etc. Head looks to be ok from initial reports.

Hopefully I'll have some good news to report in the spring. Until then, it, like so many other evos, will sit in a shop broken.

Security Question
While balancing on a piece of wood, two inches by four inches known as a 2x4, john and his friend sally both spotted a dalmatian inside a truck with sirens, headed to put out a fire. State what the 2x4 is made of.
