Can you switch out your cat? The cat is really the most restrictive part.
ARP rod bolts seems overkill for that setup.
Are you actually looking for 390WHP, or is that some sort of crazy UK power rating, like "Fish and Chips" or "Blood Pudding" or something? Cause I highly doubt you'd get 390WHP on any non-boner-inducing dyno with that set up.
Well, wait, wait; are we talking about 390BHP, or 390WHP? Are you getting it dynoed, or just going by some sort of magical system where you dyno it, then add some random percentage to get crank HP? Since, honestly, I don't think I've *EVER* seen anyone making 390WHP with just a turbo-back and an intake.
Your upgrade list sounds fine. There are quite a few guys stateside running 650+bhp without upgrading the rod bolts. That being said, it's your motor and money. Rod bolts are a whopping $40 and I was once quoted $250 for the install. That's not much money if it'll make you feel better.
A good exhaust, intake, and tune is good for about 320whp on 91oct and 340 on 93oct on a Dynojet (the generous dyno). I assume that there's no way to get away with removing the catalytic converter in Europe. They've been shown to sap about 25whp. I suspect you'll end up right around your target of 390bhp.
Over here we get around 97/99oct so might see higher numbers than you US.
The bolts were by the suggestion of the Garage and are only costing me £71.81 + fitting
I would think that you would need a turbo upgrade to make that power. I dont really know of anyone that made that kinda power on the stocker. Unless the dyno reads high. Either way welcome to the forum and good luck with your goal
I didnt say you were did I? I dont care about final numbers either but some people have goals that they want to reach and of thats his then so be it. Dont be so fast to get defensive
Eibach springs have received mixed reviews in the states. Some love the lowered look and ride. Others think they lower the car too much, hurt the handling, and shorten the life of the struts. They usually go with Swift Springs instead.
