Mika v.2.0 – “Aerodynamically Sexy” Build

This build was mostly focused on the exterior of the vehicle. There are some performance upgrades this time with the brakes and exhaust, but the vast majority is related to weight reduction, aerodynamics and aesthetics.

I want to send a big shout out to DSG Performance (www.dsgperformance.com). Without the hard work and dedication of these guys this build would not be as amazing as it has turned out. I cannot recommend them enough for any parts needs. Jason and all the other DSG guys were instrumental to my previous and current builds and will continue into future builds.

All paint, bodywork and fitment issues were completed by Auto Ralph (www.autoralph.com) and Matt Kimber (#mattyk411). These guys were very professional and Matty definitely went above and beyond on the build and fitment. While doing an amazing job overall, it was the attention to the “little touches” that raised this build to the next level.

Overall, my favorite mod this build is the Varis Wide Body Full Kit. The look of the car is fantastic, but I am going to let the attached pictures do the talking about that for me. The other specific mod that I love is the Fortune Auto Air Cup System. Being able to raise the car 2” at will makes getting over curbs and other obstacles a breeze. The best part is that when they are purged of air, they are nothing more than metal spacers on top of the coilovers so you get all the feel and performance from a great set of coilovers.

Update

Took my car to ImportFest 2016 in Toronto, Ontario. Canada this summer. It was a great show and a lot of fun was had hanging with the guys from DSG Performance.

As an added bonus, was able to take home the trophy for "Biggest & Baddest Lancer" class. No specific Evo or Mitsubishi classes available.

How do you like the SSP undertray? I've been looking at that for a while now.

Those fenders look nice.

Needs more engine bay, though!

I love the SSP undertray. It fit right up with the Varis bumper with no issues and looks sick
