Hey guys, Ive posted some pictures of my pistons, I have a built motor wiseco pistons. As you can see piston #1 has some minor chips in it and I was wondering if this is something I should be concerned about.
Are you talking about the pitting? It doesn't look too bad. You might want to knock down any high spots as they can create hot spots that could cause detonation but otherwise nothing looks so bad I'd worry about it. Piston's don't have to be perfectly smooth (heck as you can see Weisco stamps serial numbers in them)
Sorry guys I just uploaded two more pictures the area circled in red with the pitting or chipping only exists on piston #1 and only in that section of the piston.
I'll stand by my earlier comment. High spots can create hotspots which you don't want but the piston isn't structurally compromised and should be good for many miles yet.
Hi I have my evo x 08 and this morning my check engine light come on I scanned and the code it’s p1320 can anybody help me and how you guys fix this problem ? Thank you
