Ok so a few questions have been raised as to how many people are actually running the Spec or CM clutch while running the stock CMC with no modification to CMC.

Because SPEC and Clutch masters use a different fulcrum design in their pressure plate which reduces the pressure on your clutches hydraulic system thus increasing the life of your CMC (In theory)

We can do another thread with ACT, Exedy, Competition, etc if this poll does its job.

Date installed:Shortly after I bought car and let Joey kill my stock clutch (10-1-09)
Brand:Spec
Stage #: 3+
Mileage on car: 4000 when installed
Mileage on Clutch: 4000 or so when removed
Rough ft/lbs (To crank): 360+

When clutch was removed it was in perfect condition and installed in another car.
Also stock CMC was in perfect condition when I removed the Spec 3+ and installed my new twin disk.

Yes i had both, spec clutch pressure plate failed on me and switched to fx400. I will try to update the dates soon. My stock cmc died at 250 miles of spec stage 3+ install date and pressure plate, mine was a special case i guess lol

So far clutch is good. Its a bit rough when taking off during stop and go traffic. It has been making some random noise (not chatter) but im giving it atleast 1k to fully break in and if the noise doesnt go away I will have the shop that installed it take a look.
