what engine oil are you using?

ive looked through this forum and cant seem to find a thread on this

keep in mind ive been known to not be able to find something that's rite in front of my face (ask my wife)

just wondering if anyone is running anything different then the mobil1 that is suggested by Mitsubishi?

being an ex Subaru owner I know jumping to rotellas 5w40 synthetic was an excellent change just seeing if theres comparable difference in other oils in the x as well

thanks and my apologies if this thread already exist

Rotella T6 5w40. I did an oil analysis after 2 track days and a month of driving and it was holding up really well.

I've been running Mobile 1 0w-40. With the thought being that that much of your wear is done when cold cranking the engine, so I run a little thinner when cold, and a little thicker when warm for some added turbo protection.

Seems to be running well, but if some one strongly disagrees with this, I'd like to hear thoughts.

Here is my oil analysis after 3700 miles on the Amsoil 5W-40 FULL SAPS. Read comments from Blackstone also.

Only comment I have is don't run this oil if you have your catalytic converter lol
