Hey guys

Just got a 15 evo with comp clutch and light flywheel don’t know the stage came with car.

So I had it for a month and it’s making a grinding noise/ some type of noise. when I let off in 1st gear from a stop. It doesn’t do it all the time.

Got some quick vid... I can take more if needed

Does depressing the clutch pedal have any effect on the noise?

Could have a misaligned clutch assembly, maybe piot bearing issues. Ive seen so many evos have clutch issues with aftermarket stuff. Get quotes from local shops on diagnosis. Gonna be pricey

Thanks for the reply’s.

When I press the pedal in it don’t make any noise. just when I gas it to start going from a stop.don't matter if it’s up hill or down hill or level ... But it don’t do it all the time. Kinda weird... And I also haven’t heard it in reverse yet... I just hope it’s not the tranny going. it runs great tho shift great 2nd to 3rd is kinda iffy tho

And Yeah I’m going to call a shop that works on a lot of EVOs and ask prob expensive. Might as well replace the clutch while it’s there and open lol. If that’s even the problem
