pretty decent times for the first time out. One my first time out I had a problem hitting the rev limiter. Keep on practicing at the track the clutch will probably hold up for a few more times.

1st run: [email protected] (without launch control) R/T 1.340
2nd run: [email protected] (with l/Control on for the first time - bogged at the start) R/T 0.358
3rd run: [email protected] (with l/Control sticky 3rd gear change) R/T 0.089
4th run after a 3 hour delay: [email protected] (with l/Control and missed the 3rd gear change) R/T 0.218 - This was my best launch and IMO if I had gotten the change correct in 3rd I would have ran around a 12.4 or easily better.

Anyway.. lessons learnt, more practise needed, more car prep needed (ie less fuel in the car :S )

Best run of the night was a 12.90 (the missed gear runs were around the 13.6/7 time). Disappointing. I need more practice with launch control.. and certainly shouldn't race with a full tank of gas.. arrghhh!!!

I think I would have been good for atleast a 12.4/5 run if I had hit that 3rd gear.. more practise needed for sure. (Just need to convince the wife now).

The "need" for more power after all that practice is there also .

Stock clutch held up ok, but felt incredibily soft when really put to the test.

So lessons learnt. keen to go again.

On the bright side, nothing went bang, no CELs thrown, and an 'ok' first outing with a new car and an inexperienced dragger. Till next time.
What mods do you have? What MPH/60' time?
