Spare Tire - Onboard/Offboard?

Do you or don't you carry your spare in the trunk?

I don't have my spare. It's not to save weight, but to make room for my amp & give me more trunk space. I have AAA & people that could pick up my spare if I get into trouble. I take it on road trips in a trash bag though.

I carry mine onboard just so I can limp home if I need to.

Yeah, I don't carry mine either. My main reason is every single time in the past when I had to use a stock jack, it usually scratches/bends the hell out of the pinch weld. I only lift my car from the front and rear jack point, not on the sides. I don't even let the tire shops jack up my ride, I take them off and take it to them to balance.

I have 11k miles on the car and got 2 flats already. Used the spare tire each time so it will remain in the car. I'm not one to wait for a tow truck or use that green goo crap.

The jack in the car isnt too bad but the wrench to get the lugs off sucks. If you have aftermarket rims make sure you put a good wrench in the trunk.
