Is dolphin therapy good for people with ADHD?

My friend has a kid with ADHD, and she's looking for alternative therapies. I saw dolphin therapy on TV and wondering if it's good for kids. The problem is, her son doesn't know how to swim. What are your thoughts about this?

Yeah I read that somewhere too that swimming with the dolphins can help address autism, depression and cancer. It helps children with more general mental and emotional disorders. But since you were telling that the child doesn't know to swim, this may not work out for him. What about the traditional therapy for special children such as occupational therapy?

I've never heard of this. Why is it considered helpful?
