Fw1 "waterless cleaner"?

So I was at a shell gas station and stated filling up when this guy stopped by and started talking about my Evo.. It didn't take long for him to start trying to sell me this FW1 product.. He sprayed the product on my car without asking which kinda worried me a little bit but it seemed to work. So since I had an extra 20 I decided to buy it and test it out on the girlfriends car.

Has anyone tried this stuff? I went straight home and washed my car and really soaped up the door he sprayed it on just incase it's bad for the paint.

Never heard of it. The go to waterless car wash stuff is Optimum no rinse. I get my detailing stuff from autogeek.net and I dont see fw1 on their site. It might be some wonderful new up and coming product or it might be crap. Save it for the girlfriend's car and see how it goes

I def would have smacked the bottle out of the dude's hand if he sprayed it on my car without asking.
Brighto, makes old bodies new.

ditto.... people try to sell this stuff all the time at gas stations... they walk up to you, start a conversation and then try to sell you some product. he shouldn't have used it on your Evo without your permission.

Optimum no rinse is great stuff but I really haven't spray and wipe since I don't want to scratch the paint. Does it leave any scratch???

I know that. I use it to clay bar the car. There is few product like this but I can't seem to just wipe with optimum no rinse just incase it will scratch the paint

OK OK OK I have used this product for some time now. FWI cleansing wax... if you follow the simple instructions this stuff is amazing. Never any scratching of paint no haze look. use a micro fiber cloth to wipe on and clean. I start at hood then circle around car and by the time I get back to hood I've used 4 MF cloths. then get a good terry cloth and buff in. it's perfect for apartment people who don't have access to hose or feel like paying 15$ to go to a car wash. I had this since 07 when I had my grand cherokee got more in 10 when i had my gsx just got more for my 08 evo x and 13 outlander sport. thats my opinion on the product never hurts to try. I love it.
