I'd appreciate any sort of write-up you'd be willing to post as a follow-up. I can't be the only one. Thanks in advance!

Looks to me like only the bottom half of your headlight projector lens is getting/projecting light. Not to say that there is anything wrong...as you said, there is only the one LED... But imagine how much more light there would be if another LED was mounted on the other side of that panel.

Thanks for the info!

I agree with you man. The fact that only the one LED is putting out as much light as one HID bulb is pretty incredible also. But as you stated, one on each side would put it over the top!

Ok step one trying to find the LED head lights.
So fare what I have found is that some of the older LEDís use a constant current module which have now been replaced with the LED assembly having the constant current module included in to the LED fixture. the new ones don't require a cooling fan either. This makes for a better and easier fit. also makes for easier replacement in the future.
Then I noticed that some come with lenses over top of the LEDís them self, looks like they are not being used in the next gen LEDís either, so they are out. Looks like the next gen LED are using an ETI chip style.
Now time to look for some that fit my wants and needs. LOL
