evo springs work on lancer?

I ordered set of progress lowering springs for my evo but took forever to get here. Since that time i have gotten set of swift r spec springs to be installed monday. yesterday the ups man showed up with the progress springs too so would they work on my winter car the lancer es?

IIRC, neither springs nor coilovers from the X will swap onto the base model Lancers (DE, ES, GTS, RA).

springs may. my stock springs are on a 1g talon

Rear springs are so so long on the Evo, no way to put them on Lancer shocks.
