I know there are a lot of haters on this thread to gts owners who want to awd or turbo their cars. Their just mad that a 2.4 can put down better numbers with the factory setup. I say good luck. I've dropped money into my gts and I have a fwd beast. That races similar to a srt-4 neon. I'm running 10lbs of boost and have 350hp 329tq at the wheels. I haven't touched internals yet. But that my next project to get a little more out of her until my transmission gives. If u find out anything about a good LSD for the fwd setup or someone who custom makes an awd setup for ya. Keep me in the loop. The fun is building something that only you have. And I'm not using a rrm turbo kit. It's all used gsr parts that evo owners rip off their car before they even hit 10k miles. I've never understood why they spent 25k-40k for a awd car then rip all the performance stuff off and put aftermarket on. Why not just start at step 2. Just because of aftermarket availability? Money makes things happen. Just like suburu not wanting to release a sti version of the brz, they gave into peer pressure. Now people will pay another 10k for a sti badge and then rip the turbo off for something bigger. Change the springs seats speakers intake exhaust and blah blah blah. I hate it when someone tells me to buy an evo.

You never drove an evo did you? With the money you probably spent on your car and will spend, you could have afforded one, and sure you will be faster in straight line, but you can't beat evo in the turns.

Soon you will max out on your platform and dump a shit load of money. Evo however starts higher up the ladder, and even with maxed out engine you would still have plenty of improvements to make.

I am not hating on GTS, just saying use your platform for whatever it's meant. Your car is faster in straight than stock Evo because you dumped enough money to make it that way. Which could have afforded you used avo and potentially a few mods.

P.S. > I am yet to see someone call people "haters" when those are actually(trully) dumb and don't get the awesomeness of one's idea.

Ah yes, I used the word haters loosely. But a straight line no. I track my car a lot. If your ever near road Atlanta, Daytona, or sebring. Let me know. I like a challenge. The Hondas arnt fun to beat on anymore. Hell I even drive up to CNP in South Carolina.

And as for money spent. I'm still under $20k with tunes and dyno costs. But I'll give you this it doesn't drive like a evo. Or an awd.

Yes I have. Sadly I do have to say the few I have driven where all under 400hp with little to no mods.

But personally I'm waiting 6 more years til I can import a r33 into the states legally. That's gonna be my awd project.
