what is the most comfortable riding coilover ?

I am looking for the most comfortable riding coilover with no clunking noises. I use my car as my DD and I track the car 3-4 times a year.

What do you guys suggest ??

I need your help because I do not know much about this topic. I think that I have made a mistake by installing eibach lowering springs because I am having a clunking noise coming from the front suspension. The dealer changed my passenger side top plate (bearing) on the warranty but it still does the clunking sound.

need your guys help because I love the stance of the car now with the eibach springs.

Well I don't know if coilovers are going to be your answer for the clunk. Most of them have pillow ball mounts. I know there are a couple that you can get the rears with the rubber tops, which is where I hear the clunks come from on my BC's. Them being comfortable is going to be the way that you adjust them. I am pretty happy with mine.

how much did you get these for and from who ?

Are they rubber mount pillow ball mount ?

I want something that is quiet no clunking noise. I am right to say that when it is a pillowball mount that they will clunk compared to rubber mount that will not clunk.

Why do pillowball mounts clunk.

Sorry, I am a newbee when it comes to suspension.

thanks

They are metal spherical bearings... contact between metal objects that has a gap makes a little noise

Cheap, cheap, not cheap. If you spend much less than $2k then you probably won't be happy.

Cheap coilovers will make noise not only due to the top mounts but also when they run out of travel. I run the Robispec Streets (KW V3's) and they are designed to be quiet, partly by re-using the stock top mounts in front.

You can find lengthy threads about coilovers on EvoM.
