Possible to Monitor with Cobb AP v3 with EvoScan tune via Tactrix

I am wondering if I can use my Cobb AP V3 to Monitor only without causing issues with my custom tune done using a Tactrix cable on EvoScan.
It's been a couple years since I first married my AP, so I can't recall exactly what's possible with it.
I don't want to use the Cobb for anything other than monitoring knock, boost, etc...

Did you figure this out? It would be a good option for those that already have a Cobb Access port.
