Nav - OEM amp, any issues doing this?

I was looking into replacing the OEM rockford amp with a nice 4 channel amp (front channel for the car, rear channel for the sub) and was wondering if there is any issues with removing the stock amp?

I know i will need to add in 2 crossovers for the front tweeters and mid drivers (which i plan on replacing soon afterwards) and add a ACC line to under the seat for the amp since the stock one has a digital output.

So is there any issues with just removing the amp and wiring another one in its place?

i didnt have any issues with it. its pretty simple. Just unbolt the amp, take out the 2 harnesses running in and buy a harness from somewhere. That or you can look up the wiring diagram.
I decided to put all 3 of mine in the trunk though.
its a real easy swap. just make sure to not accidentally combine the tweaters in with the Front and Rear speakers.

Welcome to the forums as well

Good to hear about the amp, what a POS but its placement is perfect for a nice 4 channel amp.

I will be upgrading the door speakers and tweeters and adding in crossovers so no worries about blowing them up and i have a JL Audio 10 w6v2 in a box for the trunk. Goinf to get a nice custom box built but thats not for a bit.

I am tempted to mount my old cars 6 channel Phoneix Gold Octain amp where the spare is but for now i think this will do.
