My mod plans good or bad?

i have a 2014 evo x mr

right now for bolt on's im looking at the AMS Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X STX400 Package which Includes the following
AMS 3” Racing Series Stainless Steel Cat-Back Exhaust, Single Tip
AMS Performance Intake System
AMS Front Mount Intercooler Kit
AMS Upper Intercooler Pipe
AMS Widemouth Downpipe
AMS 3” Stainless Steel Test Pipe
Cobb AccessPort
AMS STX400 Calibration for the Cobb AccessPort

and both ETS packages ( i want the V2 4" intercooler with the asto dump and high flow cat back)

http://www.extremeturbosystems.com/Package-Deals/ <---both packages

if i get the ETS packages then i will need the cobb AP AMS Map

i plan on using EVO Titan Series Stage 5 Track Package for tranny and fly wheel ill also be getting 1000-1300cc Injector Dynamics Fuel Injectors

once these are done ill start on upgrading the turbo and engine but do you guys think these packages are a good start or no?

Honestly, buy everything seperate and get a custom tune. If you buy the package, I've heard you get VERY conservative tunes. I'd go for a custom tune and just buy the parts seperately (it's like $700 cheaper if you do it that way)

yea, AMS package is crazy expensive for the gains you get. Search this forum, you will find plenty of threads on initial modding.

i understand that a custom tune would be better but im not a professional at these kind of things since it is my first car and where i live (Victoria BC Canada) there is not any real tuners i can trust to take my car into for a custom tune...(i was going to drive it to Washington DC USA and get ETS to custom tune her) im not looking for if its expensive just want to know if I got a good handle on what im about to do... i can bargin shop like everyone else i just need a good idea that what im thinking will work... because a lot of the mods i see people do on here are like ppl mix and match parts like a AMS downpipe to a ETS cat and so forth would u get more power from doing this or is it just a perference thing on parts ppl like to use

I think a lot of people research parts and price and then purchase what they feel comfortable spending. Not many of us have the funds to get exactly what we'd want, and most people are anxious to get new parts, et cetera. Also, a lot of people like to mix parts when they can find deals on better parts. I want to stick with AMS for the most part as well, so I have divided up my purchases into three parts, and I'll do those three seperately.

Again, I would look at just buying the parts directly and then working with an E-tuner here or finding a well known and respected tuner within driving range of you and then taking a weekend and getting your parts put on, tuned, et cetera. I would just stockpile your parts until the tune time comes and have it all done at once.

IMO: Ditch the AP, buy a tactrix cable, wideband O2 sensor, and e-tune.

Don't use basic Cobb tunes on an MR that you plan on modding heavily...

Really dude?
